Guided Historic Walk of Clare

Join a Volunteer of the Clare National Trust Police Station and Courthouse Museum for a journey through Clare’s beginnings as a Township in the 19th Century.​

  • You will hear about some of the early settlers and

  • be surprised at how entrepreneurial they were, and

  • discover how hard life was in those early days.

  • See some of the original buildings

  • and learn of the ones which no longer exist but were important to the town’s development.

Bookings are essential as numbers are limited

  • Call 0400 010 879 to secure a place

  • $25 per person (inc. entry to Museum) – cash only

  • payable on the day

Meet at the Car Park in Gleeson Street at 1.15 pm. Look for a lady in a hat!!

  • Dress for the weather and wear a mask.

  • Tour will conclude with tea and cakes at the Museum in Neagles Rock Road at approximately 2.45 pm.

  • Learn much more about these 'exhibits'
